The attack, which took place late last night, is said to have been targeted at King Khalid International Airport in the capital, Riyadh. According to Saudi sources, the missile was deactivated in the air thanks to the missile defense system near Riyadh. The Ministry of Defense notified that the missile of limited scale had not caused casualties or material damage occurred. It was also noted that the air traffic at the airport continued in normal course.
