German Ballroom acquires Linkz, biggest Turkish Digital Media Group

Ballroom International Network acquires the biggest independent Digital Media Sales Group in Turkey, founded by Orkun Tekin.

By this acquisition, it is going to be the largest independent digital, technological and advertising network in Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey.

•Ballroom is acquiring 100% of 3 companies, Reklamz A.S, Linkz A.S, SEM A.S.

Having over 70 associated employees, The Group Companies develop and market digital advertising products in the field of search engine marketing (SEM A.S.), contextual advertising (LINKZ A.S.), video advertising (Vidyoda), display advertising (ReklamZ A.S.) and mobile marketing (MobilZ).

•In addition to his duties as being the founder and Chairman of The Group Companies in Turkey, Orkun Tekin is also going to be responsible on the Board of Directors of the Ballroom International Holding for diversification and new business in the field of all digital advertising mediums including display, search, in-text, mobile and video.

•Together with The Group Companies, Ballroom International has over 50 million unique users and over 150 specialized employees in digital media in Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey. This year, it is planning an estimated consolidated turnover of 30 million Euros with an EBIT margin of approximately 10%.

Munich, 16th November 2011 – Ballroom is acquiring 100% of 3 companies, Reklamz A.S, Linkz A.S, SEM A.S. Having over 70 associated employees, The Group Companies develop and market digital advertising products in the field of search engine marketing (SEM A.S.), contextual advertising (LINKZ A.S.), video advertising (Vidyoda), display advertising (ReklamZ A.S.) and mobile marketing (MobilZ).

The Group incorporates three companies, originally was founded by Orkun Tekin in 2002 and has been growing continuously ever since. The Ballroom International Network is planning to incorporate the established technological solutions and the know-how of the group companies into it’s enterprises that have already been established in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania in order to considerably expand the market shares and growth in these countries.

To achieve this target sustainably and effectively, Orkun Tekin and his management team acquiring %10 percentage of the shares of the Ballroom International Network, and they will also be responsible for the international development of new products and services.

In the next few years, Ballroom International Network is planning to broaden its international expansion and to concentrate not only to agency business but also to direct client focused business lines with new products in the field of performance, affiliate marketing and search engine marketing.

Today, Ballroom International Network has over 160 employees, and is generating an estimated turnover of 30 million Euros, thus achieving an EBIT margin of approximately 10%.
