Bank of China given banking license to start operations in Turkey

BDDK President has said that the banking license for Bank of China Turkey AŞ has been approved and that the bank could start operations effective tomorrow.. Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA/BDDK) President said that the Bank of China could start operations in Turkey. The President said that the Bank had already been given permission for establishment, earlier.

He added “Now the license has also been granted and Bank of China Turkey AŞ can now officially start banking operations from now on. Speculations and perception operations practiced on the Turkish banking system have been proved void again as one of the biggest banks in the world has started operating in our country.”
