Big incentives for Turkey’s Small Medium Enterprises on the way to boost the economy

Turkey’s government is determined to boost the economy in the coming period. Within this frame work The Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Promotion Agency (KOSGEB) is preparing to offer a new support package for SMEs in 2018. The incentive to be announced by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım soon is expected to be TL 1.7 billion in size.

Faruk Ozlu, Industry and Technology Minister who made a statement in this regard, expressed that the companies that produce high technology in the manufacturing industry would be given priority within the framework of said incentive package to be announced soon.

The Minister also expressed that the support package would be of TL 1.7 billion size with the target to enable SMEs to live through an easy adaptation period to the process of industry 4.0 revolution.

“We will announce new incentives with a program that will be attended by the Prime Minister as well. We will evaluate our SMEs and provide support to those who get 70 points and over.

We will support our companies in the manufacturing industry with the purpose of producing high technology. “
