Canadian PM Trudeau says Canadian intelligence has listened to recordings of Khassoghi

Justin Trudeau Canadian Prime Minister has announced that Canadian intelligence agencies have listened to recordings Turkey has regarding the murder of Saudi journalist Khassoghi who was slaughtered at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul a short while ago.

Trudeau, who held a press conference in Paris on Monday said he had not listened to the recordings.

Trudeau went on to say “Canadian intelligence agencies are working very closely with Turkish intelligence on this issue and Canada was exactly informed about things Turkey wanted to share. I had a meeting with Erdogan a few weeks ago and we also had a brief meeting in Paris. I thanked him for the strength he displayed regarding his approach to the event.”

The PM also said, “We are continuing to be in contact with our allies in connection regarding the murder of Mr. Khassoghi and we are in talks with our allies who think like us about the steps to be taken against Saudi Arabia”.
