Central government budget deficit exceeds TL 8.5 billion in November 2017

Central government budget revenues were calculated as TL 65.2 billion and expenditures as TL 56.7 billion in November 2017. The budget deficit stood at TL 8.5 billion in November and TL 26.5 billion in January-November. The Ministry of Finance announced the results of the budget implementation for November and January-November period.

Accordingly, in November, budget revenues increased by 7.3 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and reached TL 65.2 billion, while budget expenditures rose by 11.8 per cent to TL 56.7 billion.

Budget revenues were TL 574.6 billion in January-November period with an increase of 13 percent compared to the same period of last year and budget revenues increased by 17.7 percent to TL 601.1 billion. Thus, central government budget in November this year, gave TL 8.5 billion surplus and in January-November period it gave a deficit of about TL 26.5 billion.
