After the JUSTICE MARCH from Ankara to Istanbul, The CHP (Republican People’s Party) is now preparing to hold a summit under the name “Justice Congress” in the historical peninsula of Gallipoli where the Battle of Çanakkale took place and on the anniversary date of the Great Battle of Dumlupınar (Büyük Taarruz), a major event on the way to liberty for the Turkish nation following the war of independence.

The CHP will make an application to the Gallipoli Historical Site Presidency to be granted the required permission to hold said event. In case no positive response is received, a suitable area location will be chosen in KAZ DAĞLARI area. The congress is planned to be held on an area of 50 acres.

CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, will not leave the area during the general assembly and a mobile office will be fetched for CHP leader who will follow both the events and his routine party work throughout the congress which will start on August 26th and end on August 30th. Participants will stay in tents at night. In the campground, activities will be held in order to revitalize the memories of the injustices experienced in Turkey. These events will be in the form of exhibitions, film screenings or oral expression. Human stories about injustice will be told, panels will be organized. Workshops will be held in tents. This congress just like the Justice March will not belong or related to a certain political party and it will be a congress for those who want justice and would like to lay claims in this regard. Everyone with complaints in this direction will be invited to the congress.

CHP that voiced a demand for justice via walking now aims to put forth a resolution for the problem in the congress. In the workshops to be arranged during the event, the answer to the question “How does Turkey solve the problem of justice” will be sought.

The formula that will emerge through the evaluation of the solution proposals will not be from the cuisine of a single party, but it will be a common suggestion for the solution put  together by different political parties and groups.
