Contemporary Istanbul Art Show contributes to promotion of Istanbul on int’l arena
Istanbul is already one of the most popular mega towns in the world and the number of visitors it receives increase each and every year. This is certainly due to the abundance of alternatives it offers visitors such as historical places, unparalleled nature and international events such as “Contemporary Istanbul Art Show”.
Contemporary Istanbul (CI), which is one of the most valuable contemporary art events of the city, has enabled the citizens take a pause (and deep breathe, maybe) in a very nice and different atmosphere away from all the hustle bustle of everyday life in the exhausting town.
It was the 13th year of the fair this year and the exhibition brought together strikingly beautiful pieces of art from a large variety of artists with art lovers from different geographies of the world between 20 and 23 September 2018.
It is a fact that “Contemporary Istanbul” has renewed itself every year for 13 years and seems to be determined to continue with the same momentum. The fair was full of innovations to keep in mind this year, as well.
The exhibition which brought together the leading galleries, artists, institutions organizations, as well as collectors and art lovers, took place at LUTFI KIRDAR HALL and ISTANBUL CONGRESS CENTER this year, with a very successful performance.
