Critical call from Russia to Turkey regarding observation points in Idlib

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, Press Conference – BusinessTurkeyToday.com

In a press conference Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov evaluated the diplomacy of his country in 2017, he made some important statements about Turkey. Lavrov called on Turkey about Idlib and said “We hope Turkey speeds up the establishment of observation points in Idlib

In the press meeting, Lavrov assessed the situation in Syria and made a significant call on Turkey. He said, “We hope that Turkey accelerates the process of setting up observation point in Idlib”.

Lavrov also accused USA and warned that USA supported those in favor of regime change in Syria. He also said ”In case US-backed  forces control certain territories this may lead to the division of Syrian territory”.

Russia, Iran and Turkey have been in the picture for Syria conflict, trying to secure cease fire in certain areas and ensure the presence of ISIS is ended. Russia and the USA have put in best effort to avoid any mutual confrontation so far. As for Iran and the States, President Trump has been in real bad terms with the Iranian administration so far and would not miss a chance to slam Iran.
