The easiest way to get money in Turkey would be using your home bank ATM/cash card or a credit card in a Turkish ATM/bancomat/cash machine.

If you want to exchange cash, there are many places that will do it for you all over Istanbul.

Currency Exchange Offices (Döviz Bürosu) are found allover big cities and especially in tourist and market areas. These provide better exchange rates than most banks, and may charge a small commission.

You stand a good chance to get better exchange rates at offices in market areas (like Grand Bazaar) than than those in tourist areas.
