BIST 100 index sees highest level since September 15 with 108,455.75 points

Istanbul Stock Exchange (BIST) 100 index closed the day at 108,433,55 pounds with 1.41 percent rise on October 20. The BIST 100 index increased by 1,507.16 points compared to the previous close, while the total transaction volume was 4.7 billion pounds. The banking index gained 2.54 percent and the holding index gained 2.21 percent. Among sector indexes, transportation was the most profitable with 3.14 percent, while trade suffered the highest decline with 1.42 percent.
