Minister Albayrak wants Turkish business world to participate in fight against inflation

It is reported that Berat ALBAYRAK, Minister of Treasury and Finance is to call on Turkish business world, to contribute to fight against inflation by pulling down prices by minimum10 percent.

Treasury and Finance Minister Berat ALBAYRAK is expected to announce the program for the fight against inflation, tomorrow. Based on preliminary information provided by business world regarding the program put together to control high inflation the Minister will ask business people to drop their prices by minimum 10 percent to participate in the challenge against difficulties the economy is going through.

Some experts comment this issue will be one of the most important items of the program and in case this call is well received a substantial loosening could be observed in inflation.

On the other hand, Boyner which is one of the conglomerates of Turkey in retail sector will be the first business establishment to take steps, in regards. The Group has decided to implement an action plan that includes sales campaigns, discounts and payment facilities to support the purchasing power of its customers in all retail companies for effective participation in the fight against inflation. In addition to this action plan, Boyner Group brands produced by Boyner Group companies and sold in over 500 stores and e-commerce sites will offer a 10 percent discount.
