Government says withdrawal of outlawed PKK militants developing according to plans

On the contrary to negative statements by the opposition parties as well as concerns from many citizens as to what is going to happen regarding the withdrawal process in question, the government paints a very confident picture about the fate of the process.

A government official commenting about the issue has maintained that everything has been developing in its normal routine and the withdrawal process is expected to proceed as planned and announced by PKK leader Karayılan as well.

Israel would like to host new talks with Turkey

Following the first round of talks that took place in Ankara, Israel would like to host new talks with Turkey.  It is reported that in spite the families of Marmara raid victims do not agree to drop legal cases against Israel, this would not prevent both parties from proceeding with the process

Although the date and the place for the second meeting has not yet been scheduled, it is expected that Turkish Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioğlu will contact his counterpart next week to hold the second round of talks.

Prime Minister says doors of a dark era closing for Turkey

Erdoğan who spoke at a meeting on Saturday said a problem going back for many years would end, as well as the issue of 30 year old terrorism.

This incident has indeed shown the necessity of building a much larger airport to meet the roaring demand the city of Istanbul has been enjoying lately. The largest of Istanbul’s airports has the highest growth rate among all others in the world

It is widely accepted the new airport planned for Istanbul needs to be completed as soon as possible and in fact the tender for an airport with a capacity to reach 150 million passengers gradually is scheduled to be held on May 3. The facility is expected to go in  to operation by 2017.

Tourism sector hopes solution process will contribute to success of tourism agencies

It has been long observed that many tourists from Europe and several other places of the world have not been able to visit the region as it has been considered risky due to terror problem in the region.

It is now reported that tourism experts forecast that eastern and southeastern Anatolian regions would emerge with the solution process as peace is expected to prevail in said regions.

It is also noted that when tourism sector in the region improves again, unemployment rate will drop.
