It is reported that the North Korean delegation delivered a statement to Russia saying they will launch a nuclear attack on the US and its allies. The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that they did not notice the declaration by North Korea President Kim Jong-In had been sent to Putin. However, the spokesman of the Russian Senate said that the declaration had been delivered by the North Korean delegation to the Russian authorities at the “Parliamentary Union” meeting held in October, to be conveyed to Vladimir Putin.

According to Sputnik International, Donald Trump had said on his visit to Asia, he was waiting for help from Putin on the North Korea issue. As both North Korea and the United States put the ball in Putin’s court, eyes have turned to Russia.

Putin on the other hand stated at a press conference on Saturday that the quest for dialogue should be expanded and the matter should be solved through dialogue. Russian President also advised the parties to soften their styles, saying “speaking in a hard style can trigger many dangers.”

Not long while ago however Putin had also said “North Korea is committed to nuclear development and can even choose to eat grass instead of giving up its nuclear weapons,” regarding the tough sanctions applied to North Korea and added that the US could not prevent the country’s nuclear development with economic sanctions against this country.
