Officials say SANLIURFA Hotels 100 percent full thanks to Göbeklitepe year in 2019

Thanks to Göbeklitepe Year, Şanlıurfa which stands out with its cultural tourism attracted many visitors in 2019. The city known as one of the important tourism centers in the southeastern Anatolia Region, attracted intense interest all year long with the effect of 2019 being declared as the “Göbeklitepe Year”.

Göbeklitepe is regarded as the zero point of history and offers those visiting the city an unforgettable trip. Şanlıurfa was visited by many people this year thanks to the tranquility provided in the region.

Stating that they were satisfied with the density of tourists in the city of Sanliurfa, the officials say

“This year has been the golden year in Sanliurfa tourism. Local and foreign tourists visit the town and the people of the region and the tourists are very satisfied. The occupancy of hotels in our region reached 100 percent all year. We are working with our strength to please every guest as much as we can”.
