One conflict… Two dangerous men… and concerned billions: Welcome to Syria
SYRIA issue has no doubt been the major trouble for humanity and the Middle East in specific for several past years. We have started to witness a new confrontation between two major powers, namely the USA and RUSSIA which are both after their own benefits to strengthen their positioning in the region.
On the other hand, we already knew about PUTIN and his authoritarian and dominant attitude (even globally that is), but we once had OBAMA to balance the situation whenever needed, until TRUMP came into office. Now however we have 2 opposing leaders (if that is the word truly deserved, really) with strong egos and very ambitious (or maybe even greedy) but surely quite dangerous for the world peace. Honestly speaking, if anybody would ask the question “which one is more dangerous really” that would be real difficult to answer.
What makes us say these is the performance Trump has been displaying since his first day in office (and even before that) and many people have the impression that this man would not avoid even a clash with Russia if need be, should US interests in the Middle East (or anywhere in the world, most likely) be in question. Now talking about US interests, we are referring to the interests seen from Trump’s window obviously, regardless of how it could affect the rest of the world and all (as we have seen with the Paris Climate Treaty)… Or maybe as it should be seen from the window of a few global organizations (establishments, giant groups) with tremendous amount of money and power to impose their greedy wishes and plans to the extent of shaping (and directing) governments to make sure their needs are met. We are referring to groups involved in global finance (bankers) and mainly weapons producers, oil barons etc…
In fact, a very fresh last minute development concerning the tension between two superpowers was circulated in the news, will certainly confirm our statement as to how delicate the issue is as far as the world peace and millions of lives of innocent people are concerned;
At a joint press conference with his German counterpart, when Russian Foreign Minister LAVROV was asked about US allegations that the Syrian army would carry out a chemical attack at the beginning of the week, he said Russia would “respond proportionally and respectfully” to the possible attacks of the USA against the Syrian army. Now most people could take this as bluffing, but it is useful to keep in mind sometimes there could be a very thin line between bluff and reality…
Just to refresh our memories, earlier in the week the White House spokesman Sean Spicer had said that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had been monitoring the preparations for a new chemical attack. In reply to this allegation, The Kremlin spokesman PESKOV had stressed that the US claims and threats to legitimate administration in Syria were unacceptable. Additionally, The Russian Foreign Ministry also underlined that the White House, which claimed the Syrian government was preparing for a chemical attack, sent an invitation to terrorists to provoke (using chemical weapons, that is).
