Record breaking Turkish Airlines revises target to 75 million passengers in 2018
It goes without saying state-run Turkish Airlines is among the most successful companies in Turkey and surely the most popular abroad. It is amazing how this establishment has come to an enviable level to challenge global giants in the aviation sector.
In fact the company keeps breaking records one after the other in number of passengers it carries each and every year. The top management has announced that they have revised the target for 2018 and they look forward to carrying 75 million passengers until the end of current year.
On the other hand it was also shared by company executives that they planned to increase the number of direct destinations from Ankara to 20 by the end of 2019.
This year, they continue to record records as THY Ayci, 74 million for the end of the year as the passenger transport targets of 75 million, said they revised.
The company has grown by 30 percent in cargo revenues and they believe THY Cargo department will be reaching maximum number of destinations in the world in 2019.
