Reports show number of tourists from Ukraine has increased by 3 times

Strong interest from Ukrainian tourists for Kayseri has encouraged tourism agencies to start charter flights. Due to the demand from Ukrainian tourists to ski in ERCIYES, two major travel agencies from Ukraine are planning to arrange “charter flights” from Kiev to Kayseri during this ski season.

Professionals in the sector draw attention that the interest in Kayseri is increasing every year and add that the number of Ukrainian tourists has substantially increased.

Experts also comment as follows: “After the festival attended in November 2017, there was a boom in the number of Ukrainian tourists who came to Kayseri. The number of arriving tourists increased about 3 times compared to the beginning of the fair and most guests came for skiing”

Of the agencies organizing tours 4 were the largest companies in Ukraine. This season, the region is planning to host more tourists with planned direct charter flights within the scope of the project “Kayseri + Cappadocia Cultural Skiing”.
