Russia: We have signed contract with Turkey for S-400 missile systems


Vladimir Kojin, an advisor to Russian President Vladimir Putin, responsible for the Military-Technical Cooperation, announced that a contract had been signed between Turkey and Russia for the delivery of S-400 missile systems and they were preparing to put it into practice.

Kojin who gave an interview to TASS news agency, provided explanations regarding the delivery of S-400 missile systems negotiated between Russia and Turkey. Kojin also said; “The contract is signed and is being prepared for implementation. The S-400 is one of the most complicated systems consisting of most complex tools. So there are many technicalities here.”

Kojin, who assured that all the decisions related to the agreement were strictly in accordance with the strategic interests of the two countries, said they understood the reaction of some western countries who wanted to pressure Turkey, in this context.

Kojin added that many countries were in the queue to buy these systems.
