Russian President Putin to visit Turkey on October 14th

Turkey in the middle of a turmoil prevailing in the ME region is certainly in situation to continue and improve its political and economical ties to its neighbors,  Russia to be in the first row.

Turkey is connected to Russia in the sense a great portion of the country’s foreign trade relates to transactions with the second superpower of the world.

It would not be fair to say Turkey has managed to keep its relations with said country at its best reecently in part owing to the critical trends in global politics.

On the other hand the importance of Russia as a vital supplier of natural gas for Turkey cannot be denied.

Obviously, Turkey and Russia have so much to work on for the mutual benefits of both countries and the leaders of two countries are scheduled to come together to discuss issues of importance.

Within this framework, Russian Head of State Vladimir Putin will be in Turkey on October 14th to attend a third meeting of the Turko-Russian High Level Cooperation Council.

A group of cabinet members and bureaucrats are expected to accompany Putin during his visit to Turkey, in which Turkish-Russian bilateral cooperation and regional matters will be taken up.
