Science, Industry and Technology Minister heralds new jobs for 100,000 qualified people
Science, Industry and Technology Minister ÖZLÜ: “Informatics Valley will create an employment opportunity for 2,000 people when the construction of the first stage is completed and a job potential for 100 thousand qualified people when all the stages are completed and the project is fully operational.
Reminding that the decision to establish the Informatics Valley to be built in Gebze with more than 3 million square meters of land was taken during the period of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s Prime Minister and the former Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergün, ÖZLÜ said that the project was very important for Turkey.
Ozlu explained that the Informatics Valley would be operational after some stages. Expressing that 98 percent of the construction of the first stage of the Informatics Valley was completed, he noted that they would open the building as of May 2017. Explaining that 5 thousand R & D companies could operate at Bilişim Valley, he stated that they aimed to obtain an annual turnover of 50 billion dollars after completion of all stages of the valley.
