World Economic Forum has released its report about global gender gap. According to survey results included in said report, the rate of inequality between men and women has increased for the first time since 2006, when the study was first conducted. Based on the report Turkey ranked 131st among 144 countries.

The “Global Gender Gap” Report 2017 published last week by the World Economic Forum shows that despite the growing need for talent and raising,  sufficient importance is not attributed to gender equality in the business world. In fact, the rate of gender inequality which has shrunk since 2006 when it was first published has shown growth tendency in 2017.
