Trade wars, Ukraine crisis & Saudi Crown Prince make up agenda of G20 summit
The G20 “LEADERS SUMMIT” was held in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina yesterday. Issues such as trade war between China and the USA, crisis between Russia and Ukraine and the position of Saudi Crown Prince after the murder of journalist Khassoggi in Turkey were among the main topics on the agenda. The climate change disagreement also marked the summit.
The summit started at a time when the whole world has been concerned about further tension in the conflict between China and the USA regarding trade disagreement between these two countries. But the crisis between Russia and Ukraine also found place among the main topics of the media.
In the final declaration, the weight of the economic agenda was apparent while disagreement between the United States and other countries caught attention.
At this year’s gathering of the summit where Turkey’s weight is felt more each successive year President ERDOGAN held meetings with several world leaders on which occasion he had the chance to bring Turkey’s agenda to the attention of the international community.
President Erdogan brought Turkey’s agenda to the attention of the leaders of countries such as US and China to Russia, Britain, the Netherlands, Chile and Japan in separate meetings he had with them.
