Turkey: A country with new horizons for the services sector

HIZMET_SEKTORUIn paralel to the positive development in industry and GDP in the country in recent years, Turkey has started to become more and more a paradise for service industry.

In fact, new investments made in service sectors such as retailing, air transportation, finance, health, tourism and education have been succesful initiatives to provide good examples for more entrepreneurs to grow interest in said sector.

It is recorded that in the last five years, the share of the services sector in Turkey’s GDP has risen from 58.5 percent to 61.7 percent.
This is interpreted to be a good sign for the country for it is accepted that as countries become more developed, the share of the services sector in GDP rises.

It is also stated that Turkey is 2 points away from reaching the average global level based on this perspective.
