Turkey aims to have a Turkish brand in the top 500 global brands list in close future



A high ranking Turkish official stated that Turkey aimed to introduce a Turkish brand to the list of the most valuable brands in the world, soonest possible.

The chairman of Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) stated that Turkey aimed to have a place in the list for the 500 most valuable brands in the world such as Amazon, Apple and Google etc.

The Ankara Chamber of Commerce met with the instructors and students of the universities in Ankara before the International Ankara Brand Meetings which will be held on November 28-29-30 for the fourth time.

Noting that Turkish companies were not included in the list of the 500 most valuable brands of the world, the chairman said that their goal was to create brands that would be included in said list and that was the reason they were organizing International Ankara Brand Meetings.

He said, “We know, our young people will produce the brands that will have a place in the list of the world’s most valuable 500 brands”.

They will do this thanks to our university faculty members who will instill brand awareness and brand confidence in our students.

The chairman explained they wanted to instill brand awareness to the whole community by means of the International Brand Meetings to last 3 days and emphasized they would focus on young people  to shape the future of Turkey.
