Turkey Kazakhstan signe agreement of investment

An investment agreement worth US $ 590 million was signed between Turkey and Kazakhstan was.

In a statement made by the Prime Ministry of Kazakhstan, it was reported that a total of USD 590 million of investment agreements were made between Kazakh Invest National Company and Çalık Holding, Yıldırım Holding, Yıldızlar SSS Holding, Agrobest Group and other Turkish companies with the efforts of the Ankara Embassy in Kazakhstan.

In the statement, it was noted that the agreements had to do with the production of construction materials, machinery production, chemical operation, metallurgy and energy in Kazakhstan.

The statement emphasized that 18 investment projects worth US$ 667.5 million had been realized by Turkish companies in the last 5 years and that 10 more projects would come into operation, in the near future.

It was also noted that the total investment Turkey in Kazakhstan was US$ 2.1 billion and the investment made in the first 6 months of 2017 was US$ 925.1 million.
