The demise of Atatürk was mourned all over the country and not only in Turkey as many countries declared day of mourning to show their condolences for this great leader.

It has been 79 years since Atatürk left the Turkish nation. But the pain has never done so. The longing and the gratitude of the Turkish Nation that has been determined to progress in the path shown by ATATÜRK has continued to increase each and every year. Turks believe his body is not with them anymore, but his principles are and this nation and country owes its existence to Atatürk and his colleagues. (10 November 2017)
