Turkey has the most expensive gasoline prices in the world according to income level

Turkey which has a crowded population of approx. 80 million is certainly not among the richest countries in the world in terms of per capita income. However it has the most expensive gasoline prices.  After gasoline, the price of diesel oil was increased 10 cents per liter. Turkey is the country with the most expensive fuel prices in the world according to income level.

According to yesterday’s dollar exchange rate, the price of liter of gasoline is 1.52 in Istanbul and 1.59 dollars in Hakkari. Venezuela, which has the world’s largest oil reserves, is the country with the cheapest gasoline prices in the world followed by other oil-rich countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iran and Turkmenistan.

The most expensive gasoline in the world is in Iceland with USD 2.07 followed by Norway, Monaco and Hong Kong. However, these countries are known to have the highest per capita income in the world.
