Turkey Launches Operation on ISIS in Syria

A campaign has been launched by Turkish Armed Forces Joint Special Mission Forces and US-led coalition air forces on ISIS in Jarablus region in Aleppo in Syria.

Turkish Armed Forces Joint Special Mission Forces and US-led coalition air forces have launched an operation on Islamica State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Jarablus region in Aleppo in Syria.

The military operation started at around 4 a.m., according to the report of state-run Anadolu Agency.

The region has been bombed by jets following the intense artillery shooting by Storm howitzers and multiple rocket launchers.

TSK’s tanks are seen waiting at the Karkemish border area.

Since the beginning of the operation, Chief of General Staff Full General Hulusi Akar, Vice Chief of General Staff Full General Ümit Dündar are attending in the Armed Forces Command Headquarters at the Chief of General Staff Headquarters.
