Red Meat Production, III. Quarter 2013

RED-MEAT-TURKEY
Based on report published by TUIK “Red Meat Production” in Turkey for III. Quarter 2013 was as follows; Total red meat production was estimated as 206 466 tons

While red meat production decreased by 3%, it increased by 5.3% when compared with the same period of last year.

Cattle meat production was estimated as 177 757 tons

Cattle meat production decreased by 5.2% according to the previous period, it increased by 2.6% when compared with the same period of last year.

Sheep meat production was estimated as 26 396 tons

Sheep meat production increased by 20.2% according to the previous period, it increased by 25.8% when compared with the same period of last year.
