Turkey’s Prime Minister: We have decided to strive to improve our relations with USA

Binali YILDIRIM, Turkey’s PM who has had a meeting with US Vice President Pence in Washington made a statement on his talks with US Vice President. The PM said “We have decided to strive to move our relations to a better level than they are now … We will continue to work on the positive agenda“

He went on to say, “We have carried out a fruitful meeting and discussed the issues between our countries. We also talked about regional issues and we decided to try to carry our relations in the positive direction.”

The PM also referred to the issue of extradition of FETHULLAH GULEN and said “We shared our how it should be handled. We communicated our expectations, and the other side did not say anything negative about it. They shared their awareness of our sensitivity about these issues. We will follow up and see. We will also take steps. Our aim is not to do more to stress relations but to improve them. It is beneficial for both countries. Therefore, we will continue to work on the positive agenda.”
