Regarding the visa suspension with the United States, Mr. Tuncay OZILHAN, president of TUSIAD High Advisory Council has said, “The tension with the US is worrisome, the relations should be normalized”. Turkish Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (TÜSİAD) High Advisory Council President OZILHAN valuated the visa crisis experienced with the US.

Responding to questions forwarded by journalists, he said that problems between the United States and Turkey had accumulated over a long period of time and that relations with the introduction of diplomatic channels should be normalized.

He went on to say “The problems that have accumulated over a long period of time are now turning into problems. As someone who has followed the relationship with the US for 50 years I can say that the two countries have very few problems alike. In the western world the question is if Turkey is changing axis following contacts with Russia, Iran and Venezuela etc. The USA and the western world have a duty to normalize relations with Turkey. Turkey wants to see its allies stand by while fighting against several terror organizations. “
