Turkey’s PM slams opposition leader about his “controlled coup” comments

Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım slammed KILICDAROGLU, the leader of Republican People’s Party (CHP) about his “controlled coup” comments regarding the coup attempt on July 15th 2016. Yıldırım accused the CHP leader of encouraging the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) believed to have realized the failed attempt. “FETÖ, which tryed to take over Turkey on July 15th, is encouraged by CHP leader’s latest actions and statements” PM said in parliament on July 18th, in his speech to the MPs of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Parti).

Yıldırım said, “CHP leader to be in the first place, those who use this rhetoric owe an apology to the nation” and accused KILICDAROGLU of being influenced and controlled by terrorist groups.

The PM also said severely criticized CHP leader’s “march of justice” which came to an end with a massive rally held in Istanbul, bringing together millions o citizens.

YILDIRIM said that CHP leader had even asked for freedom for the PKK’s political leg (referring to the Peoples’ Democratic Party – HDP)  without a shame after during the 400 km walk.

The PM slammed CHP leader in the harshest manner possible saying “Today, the main opposition leader has brought himself into the most inferior level possible in politics by trying to consolidate a malicious force which made an attempt against the nation, to achieve political prosperity, and to make the calculations of vote and power”
