It seems as if the big trouble in Syria has not come to an end yet. This time the confrontation is between US and Russia, mainly. The reason is, as everybody has had big concernes regarding how Russia would retaliate to US attack on Syrian air base, a message came from Russia and Iran that said “We warn we will “respond with force” if our own red lines are crossed in Syria”. It did not take long for the alliance supporting Syrian President to make this statement threatening action in response to “any breach of red lines from whoever it is”.

The message said: “What America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well,” the group’s joint command centre said.

US President Donald Trump said the strike with some 60 Tomahawk missiles on al Shayrat air base, near Homs, was “representing the world”. The base was allegedly used by Syrian forces to conduct the attack, which killed more than 70 people.

Waters are heating up in Syria… We hope all parties will display the ability to calm down for the sake of peace – long sought for, in the region.
