What is next in Syria? Leaders of Russia Iran & Turkey gather for summit in Ankara

“Trilateral Summit” on Syria will take place in Ankara today with the participation of President Erdoğan, Russian President Putin and Iranian President Ruhani. The summit will bring the three leaders together and the future of Syria is expected to be on the table at the meeting among the leaders of the three countries very much involved in the Syria conflict.

The leaders who will seek answers to the question “What kind of a constitution should be made?” will evaluate the events that have taken place in Syria for the last period and related consequences.

In the negotiations on the normalization and transition process in Syria at the Astana and Sochi summits, a strong emphasis was put on the need for a new constitution in the country and a consensus on the formation of a constitution representing all groups in the country.
