Yandex Turkey signs agreement with local internet portal Mynet

Yandex Turkey has signed a partnership agreement with local Internet portal Mynet. Mynet users will use Yandex as their search engine and will be able to search for anything they desire on Turkish web pages.

Yandex Turkey Chairman Mehmet Ali Yalçındağ and Mynet Chairman Emre Kurttepeli said at the signing ceremony that the new partnership was the result of their quest to provide customers the highest quality in the Internet ecosystem.

“Today we are signing a very important partnership agreement for Yandex and Mynet as well as Turkish Internet users. We are very pleased to be able to provide our search technologies tailored to the Turkish market to users of Mynet, a very well-liked platform. Mynet users will be very satisfied with Yandex’s search services,” said Yalçındağ, noting that after recently celebrating its one-year anniversary in the Turkish market, Yandex was going to spearhead many new initiatives in Turkey.”

Kurttepeli added, “As Turkey’s Internet giant Mynet, we aimed to provide our users with the best usage experience and widest access to different realms like news, entertainment, videos and games and came up with services that would affect our users, who number 17 million per month.”
