Tourism in countries in the Mediterranean Sea has slowly started to be more active despite the pandemic.
According to information provided by professionals in the sector 100 planes from 21 countries were scheduled to land in Antalya today. The three countries which the highest number of planes were expected to come from were Ukraine, Poland and Germany. The number of passengers forecasted to arrive in Antalya with these flights was 18 thousand 700.
It was reported that 125 planes were scheduled to land in Majorca and 39 in Crete, 19 in Rhodes, 11 in Kos, 14 in Corfu, 6 in Dubrovnik, 12 in Sharm el Sheikh, 27 in Hurghada, 13 in Izmir and 4 in Bodrum, on the same day.
Professionals point out that these figures seem to be promising as far as Antalya tourism is concerned, taking into consideration the adverse conditions prevailing in current epidemic period.
