Electricity was increased by 15 percent in the tariff of residential subscribers and 25 percent in the tariff of industrial and commercial subscribers.
The activity-based, final and green tariff tables of the Energy Market Regulatory Agency (EMRA) have been published in today’s issue of the Official Gazette.
After a 30 percent hike in natural gas, there was a 15 percent hike in electricity in the tariff of residential subscribers and a 25 percent hike in the tariff of industrial and commercial subscribers.
In electricity, the tariffs of all subscriber groups will be effective from June 1. The price per kilowatt-hour was 129.0639 cents in the tariff of residential subscribers at the first level, and the price per kilowatt-hour in the tariff of those at the high level was 192.7977 cents.
