Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is expanding the Smart Agriculture Project it has started to implement in greenhouses and orchards. A Digital Agricultural Tracking Wireless Monitoring System, the first of which was implemented in Elmalı, was installed in greenhouses in Kumluca Mavikent and introduced to farmers.
The efforts initiated by Muhittin BOCEK, the Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, to improve agricultural production within the scope of local development projects and to bring farmers together with new technologies are in full swing. The Metropolitan Municipality aims to increase productivity on agricultural lands by reducing the input costs of producers with intelligent agricultural practices. In this context, for the first time, a Digital Agricultural Tracking Wireless Remote Monitoring System applied in greenhouses and gardens in the Çukurelma Neighborhood of Elmalı County has been implemented in the Mavikent Neighborhood of Kumluca County.
