Breaking news… Hezbollah confirms death of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah

The Israeli military has announced that Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah had been killed. Hezbollah has also confirmed Nasrallah’s death. 

There was curiosity about the fate of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was allegedly targeted in an Israeli airstrike on Friday, September 27, in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) made a statement regarding Nasrallah. In a post on the IDF’s social media account on X (formerly known as Twitter), the statement said, “Hassan Nasrallah will no longer terrorize the world.” 

The Israeli military also stated that Hezbollah’s southern front commander, Ali Karaki, had been killed. 

Reuters reported that the Israeli military officially announced Nasrallah’s death. According to this, one of the army spokespersons, Avichay Adraee, said in a statement today that Nasrallah had been killed by Israeli forces. 

Hezbollah also confirms Nasrallah’s death

Hezbollah, which Nasrallah led for 32 years, released a statement confirming his death 3.5 hours after the Israeli army’s announcement.  In a press release today, Hezbollah confirmed that its leader Hassan Nasrallah had been killed in an Israeli airstrike.  The statement read, “Leader Hassan Nasrallah has been killed. Hezbollah will continue to fight against Israel.”
