On the Uzunyalı beach in Marmaris, a group of British tourists conducted a ceremony to scatter the ashes of their loved ones who had passed away in their home country and had a fondness for Marmaris.

Following the incident, the District Health Directorate took action by collecting samples of seawater from the Uzunyalı beach to investigate the matter further.
