Change in contactless card without PIN transaction limit, starting July 1

The limit for contactless transactions without a PIN, which allows payments to be made without any physical contact using cards and mobile devices, has been increased from 750 lira to 1500 lira starting from July 1, 2024.

According to the information received, the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) updated the limit for contactless transactions without a PIN, which was raised to 750 lira on July 1, 2022, in a letter sent to banks. Two years later, the limit has been revised.

As of July 1, 2024, the limit for contactless transactions without a PIN will be 1500 lira.
