In the first nine months of this year, domestic films generated 1.784 billion TL, with total box office earnings amounting to 3.393 billion TL. Last year, cinemas hosted 31,005,844 viewers, with the domestic film audience recorded at 13,716,005 people.
In the same period this year, 235.316 million TL of support was provided to the cinema sector.
