“Consumer confidence reaches highest level in 23 months”

In March 2025, Turkey’s Consumer Confidence Index increased by 4.6% to reach 85.9, the highest level since May 2023.

This index, a joint effort between the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) and the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, measures consumers’ expectations regarding the general economic situation, personal financial status, savings opportunities, and spending tendencies.

Sub-indices contributing to this rise include:

A Consumer Confidence Index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, while a value below 100 signifies pessimism.
