OZGUR DEMIRTAS, a Turkish professor of economics made an important statement on his Twitter account saying, “Let me write what will happen in the end… Turkey will have to either increase interest rate or issue super bonds”
The professor shared following comment on his account: “The government’s interest rate denial has driven inflation crazy. Let me write down what will happen in the end; they will either raise interest rates or issue super bonds.”
After the interest rate cuts, official consumer inflation has exceeded 54 percent, while an assessment of the government’s possible next moves came from economist OZGUR DEMIRTAS.
Said message also contained the following statement: “HUNDREDS OF experts, including myself, have made warnings (in regards).”
He went on to write: “Let me write down what will happen at the end. They will either increase interest rate or issue Super Bonds.
and eventually … he went on to say,
“We will be the ones oppressed by inflation for many months and years, after this reverse gear (to come). And we’ll be asking, “What happened to your Chinese model” (you were supposed to be practising)?”
