The BIST 100 index on the Borsa Istanbul refreshed its record by surpassing the 10,000-point mark, with analysts predicting that the index will continue to rise for the rest of the year.
Since the beginning of the year, the BIST 100 index has risen by 34.13%. The increase in dollar terms was 22.16%.
MOST PROFITABLE SECTORS
When sector indices are examined in detail, the banking index has risen by 53% and the holding index by 42% since the beginning of the year.
While all sector indices have pleased investors since the beginning of the year, the information sector has been the most profitable with a 69% increase. Looking at the main indices, the technology index stood out with a 52% increase.
