In recent days, the exchange rate showed strong resistance amid the U.S. elections, but last night, that resistance gave way to a new high. After fluctuating between 34.30 and 34.36 during the day, the dollar climbed to its peak overnight.
The upward trend continues into the new day, with the rate trading at 34.40 in an upward movement during the morning session at 08:55.
EUR/TRY Update
The EUR/TRY also experienced a sharp rise last night, reaching 36.50, before stabilizing into a horizontal trend in the new day.
It fluctuated between 34.16 and 34.50 yesterday, closing at 36.24. In the morning session today, it remains stable at 36.29, moving within a horizontal band.
