Minister Yerlikaya announced the traffic accident toll for the Ramadan Bayram holiday period, revealing that during the first three days of the holiday, 27 people lost their lives and 3,619 others were injured.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared the traffic accident report for the first three days of the Ramadan Bayram holiday. He stated that on the third day, 663 traffic accidents occurred, resulting in 8 fatalities and 1,120 injuries.
Minister Yerlikaya emphasized that during the first three days of the holiday, 27 people had died and 3,619 had been injured.
He also provided information about the inspections carried out during the holiday, stating that on the third day, 528,654 vehicles were inspected, 27,387 vehicles were subject to speed and radar checks, and 29,616 vehicles were subjected to other inspections.
