ENAG and TURKSTAT announce November inflation data

The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) and the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) have announced inflation data for November. According to ENAG (a private group of academic personnel), inflation increased by 4.24 percent in November. Annual inflation was 170 percent. According to TURKSTAT (Turkish Statistical Institute, a state run establishment), consumer prices increased by 84.39 percent annually in November.

The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) appears to the public every month with the inflation rate they calculate. It is noteworthy that there is a big gap between the announced ratio and TURKSTAT.

ENAG also announced today the inflation data for November. Accordingly, the Consumer Price Price Index (E-CPI) increased by 4.24 percent in November. The last 12-month increase of the E-CPI was 170.70 percent.

According to ENAG, the increase has been 125.43 percent, since the beginning of the year.
