President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the AKP reported that the result of a Covid-19 test he had with his wife Emine Erdogan turned out to be positive. “We have a mild case of the disease that we found out is an Omicron variant,” Erdogan said.
Erdogan said on his Twitter account: “Today, the result of our COVID-19 test that I had with my wife on mild symptoms turned out to be positive. We are suffering from a mild form of the disease that we have learned is an Omicron variant. We will continue our work from home. We are waiting for your prayers.”
